    SIII Distributor Leaking oil

I am working on a 2.25 gas engine in a SIII 88, when you get the engline about 2000 rpm, the distributor seals start to seep oil. Any idea what might cause that? I have changed the seals last year but have not driven it much since then.

    Thanks in advance

Sorry its late...........Try checking to see if your engine is building up too much internal pressure. If the crankcase ventilation is not adaquately doing its thing (plugged or undersize) it will spew where it can. I discovered this when I replaced a rear main seal twice immediately after purchasing this Rover. The culprit was an axle breather used as a crankcase vent that couldn't "pass enough gas" to equalize internal pressure. Oil came out the rear seal and the dizzy seal. Lemme now how it goes.
