So I have a new to me '62 IIa. At least I think it is a "62, the guy I purchased it from said '69 but that doesn't fit with my vin #.

I need to replace the two outer and two inner seat mounts and have not seen anything that looks similar to what I have. Can I put the adjustable rails where my old ones are? On RN I think they are RNF 326 and 327. Also, if I cannot reuse any old hardware what else will I need to mount a new seat? I am thinking I will buy the elephant grey seat set made by exmoor.

This is all for front seats in a 88" iia.

I would post pics but am having trouble with the uploader.

I highly recommend the Defender style seats. If I had to do it all again I'd buy them with all the hardware so that I just bolt them in. Finding seat hardware for an early series can be tough. It may take you weeks, months to find good stuff that's not a rusty pile. Then the seats themselves aren't any great shakes.
You can order the Defender seats with Elephant Hide material. It is VERY close match to the original.
