Kodiak MK IV heater control panel

I'm restoring the heater control panel and was wondering what the original paint was on it. There is one spot on it that looks like a wrinkle finish in black like the distribution box, but not 100% positive. Any ideas? My other option is to paint it bronze green like the other dash panels. Thanks.
