I have a 1979 Series III 88, 2.25L converted from diesel to petrol (I know, but it was done before I got it :sly:), with Fairey overdrive.
This beauty was custom restored at Land Rover Centre in Huddersfield, UK for a friend, who later sold it to me. EVERY major component, and nearly every minor component as well, has been either fully restored or made new to factory spec. This is a very faithful reproduction...not a resto-mod. It currently has ~11k miles since the restoration and runs perfectly!
I am asking $22k FIRM. It would cost more than double to get an old clunker to this condition (unless you do all your own work).
