My 109 2.6L motor has a SU Card. The copper line used for the vacuum line to the Distributor to broken right next to the attaching point to the SU Carb. The current work around is to use a rubber line to make the connection

Well, it keeps falling off.

Does any one know the fitting size to the carb? Looks like a pipe compresssion fitting used on a small water line

How would you fix it, or what trade group would due that type work

thanks

josh

Not sure which SU carb was used on the 2.6, and too lazy to look it up, but is this what you seek?:

If not, that site might be of help.

If it's the part that screws onto this (auc.4490) union, then I'd just remove the union from my carb, determine the thread specs and get a new fitting to attach to this.

If you search "vacuum" on that site, there are a few pipes that come up. Not sure if they have the correct fittings on them or not.

Probably be best to figure out which SU carb you have and give those guys a call on the telephone and let them know what you need.
