Hello to all
As part of a top end overhaul I'm fitting Darla my 72 S3 2.25L petrol engine with a K&N air cleaner. Her previous owner had all sorts of PCV hoses running this way and that. I'm trying to find a good diagram of the proper hose layout or answers to the following questions;

From where should the fuel tank adsorption canister pickup its vacuum from? Base of the carb? The intake manifold? I believe it was supposed to be connected to the hose fitting on the original air cleaner but I'm taking that out.....

There is no PCV Valve installed and no sign of one ever being installed. The hose from the oil filler and Valve vent cover went directly to the banjo on the intake manifold. Is this correct? Should I install the PCV valve?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Regards,
Sean
