The green Bible says to warm the case and use a dead blow hammer to knock the inner race out of the case. The question is how hot can you get the case w/o damaging it?

From what I remember when building my transmission, Never heat up any metal to just to drop in or remove a bearing, or race to the point where it changes color, the tolerances are so shallow they should go in or come out with some heat, don't let it change and turn blue or red.
