I just installed Kumho Road Venture MT KL71's, and I'd like to run as low pressure as I can for around town, just to minimize the body jolts. Any idea what a safe pressure on the lower side would be without damaging/premature wear on the ties? Right now, I'm at 30/32.

Just reading, 25/25 and 25/30 (with some weight in the rear) so I am thinking 25/28???

Changed to 28/30.

I've run 28/30 before and it's just fine. That's the lower end of the scale I think.

D-90s back when they were imported to the states were 32/34 - which I also run in my 2a but it's a little more firm for sure.

Thanks Charlie. I started out with 30/32, then went to 28/30, not much of a difference but every little bit adds to a more comfortable ride.

BTW: I removed the OD and installed the gear and plate that i bought from you last month when I did my clutch. I need to go thru the OD unit when I have time, as i'd like to have that extra gear when on the road!

Hope all is well with the family, and have a good TG....
