trans grinding in 2nd....jumping out of 3rd on deceleration ... ???

How's reverse? Does it " chatter"?.

I would also check the 3/4 Synchro springs, there are 3 of them.

hi Les,
it was a gift...looks to be new inside. was installed & driven around the block & pulled out...
the box was rebuilt by Syncro Gearbox UK . there is a in house build number. it sits on my workbench...
does not have ID # on the case.
could it be a S2 box ?
that would account for the grinding in 2nd ?
jumping out of 3rd on deceleration...? forks look ok .
