I just finished doing this and had a few false starts so I thought I'd post a couple photos and tips. The lens is held on by the rubber gasket. First soften the gasket with some Armor All or PB Blaster. Then use a flat tip screw driver to pry the chrome ring off first, then the lens. Use a screw driver that isn't too sharp so you don't tear the rubber. A stiff, blunt piece of plastic would be safer--something like a spatula would work.
Start from the bottom in case you damage the gasket. Press the screw driver blade into the gasket where it meets the chrome and use the tip to peel the gasket back until you can get the blade under the edge of the chrome ring. Then run the blade all the way around the ring to pry the whole ring out. Repeat for the lens.
