Gents, I'm replacing the steel center piece that my grill mounts to (right in front of the radiator). Got a nice NOS one from IKE at a good price and am finally ready to move forward with an install. I know there is going to be some minor pin hole galvanic corrosion between the old steel radiator panel and the aluminum. I do plan to use rubber insulators and some Lanocote lube between the panels on the new parts install.

What is the suggested method for dealing with pin hole corrosion- where it is not bad enough to warrant patching in a new alum piece?
One suggestion I have had is wire brush the old white powder away, coat over with 'Tiger Hair' ( A fiberglass embedded type of Bondo), paint it - then proceed.

Help, thoughts and prayers appreciated!
