Hi all,
I'm on the home stretch of the restoration of my 1964 Series 2a 88" station wagon.
I have an original multigauge (temp/oil pressure) but at some point a later model metric head was installed.
When I removed the temp bulb from the head, I found the adapter had the wrong thread for the head. The threads in the head are very fine and I cannot seem to find an adapter with the correct threads.
Can anyone point me to the correct adapter?
Also, the stainless braided hose that connects the oil pressure gauge to the engine does not seem to be available anymore.
Anyone want to share what they have done to replace the oil pressure line?
