The top piece in this photo (actually on the left as shown) is the hanger that is on the chassis on the front and middle exhaust hangers on my 6 cyl 109 (NADA). I can't find replacements. I've already checked with our hosts and its drawn a blank. Does anyone know what the PN is and where I might find 2 replacements? Also the pipe is 2" I think, larger that 4cyl and so are the pipe clamps of course. I need 4 of them (2 sets). Our host may be able to order those.

Are other 6cyl NADA guys seeing the same exhaust system set up. Mine had long since been bastardized with US auto muffler shop stuff.

Hi Dave

Here is what I used on both my NADA Station Wagon with 2.6L You correct on the pipe size Nickson Industries 17144 Universal Tailpipe Hanger I get them from Amazon

Now onto the the pipe and Silencer. NOS stock from P.A Blanchard
1 x Silencer 6 Cylinder Genuine 562737
1 x Intermediate Exhaust Pipe 6 Cylinder GEX1381 Genuine 562785
1 x Front Exhaust Pipe 6 Cylinder was GEX1380 562885
1 x Tail Pipe 6 Cylinder Genuine GEX1383 90569214

Tail Pipe may be a little off

Also the Silencer go in up and down, not flat

Very heavy pipe!!!

Keep purchase under $800. Custom payment is due over this amount.

Dave, did you get the head rebuild? If so, where did you get the parts?

Josh I ordered the hangers you linked to. In addition I rehab'd my two original hanger parts with new rubber and a cleaning; and one fabrication of a bottom tab. I think with the combination of some 88 hanger parts coming from RN, and some 2" clamps they ordered in from UK, and the hangers you suggested I can put together a system that is close to what it was originally. FYI finding the NADA chassis mount bracket is worse than finding hen's teeth. The pic shows my before and after parts.

After finding all the pieces shown in the NADA parts book (with the help of our hosts) i put to all together as shown in the parts book and it would have hung the pipes 6 “ or more too low. To hang level, and with the exhaust manifold, my pipes run just along the bottom of the frame. See photos below of the original set-up and what I ended up with. Needless to say I have some unneeded parts.

Finally someone else on the same quest!! It has taken me 4 years to find a NADA 2.6L with mostly original exhaust system. I found this vehicle on a back street near my work and when I asked the shop if it was indeed a 2.6L, I immediately started taking pictures. My NADA was found with a bastardized exhaust and an air intake made from a parts of a paint can. I will attempt to post these from the manifold to the rear. I still do not know where the exhaust pipe finally is supposed to stick out (or not) from the rear of the driver side.1262112622126231262412625126261262712628

I will take the same series of photos of mine this weekend and post for you. As I mentioned there was no way the “stock” hangers I bought were going to work, so I cobbled mine together. It looks good but I’m hoping it will work without things hitting the framework.

Great pics!! I always suspected the hangars from the books were too long. I just had not gotten to the stage to check them. I see yours has the heat shield coming down off the manifold-mine did not come with a heat shield installed-again, it was heavily modified when I finally got it.

I think that metal piece would work. My front hanger didn't have rubber. Here is what I removed.
