A local Ranching family sold a Series 1, green, with the elephant hide seats (the real stuff) at auction when the owner died. soft top, they'd run the rear Diff out of oil so the pinion/ring was stripped but otherwise this was a great rig and the first one i ever drove about 1967. The Auction was in NE Oregon not far from Baker City in the 90's i think. I believe it sold for a VERY few hundred dollars if that and I"m writing to ask if anyone heard anything that may be this particular vehicle? I would of gave $500 for it were I here and I"d love to tell the 'kids' it's running and worth $20G or something!!
