Unscrewed Plunger(denten) on top of Transfer - Easy Fix? Transition not working

I mistakenly unscrewed the plunger for the detent spring (I thought it was the overdriven filler) and now the transmitting is Not Working.

Have I just created a big mess or can I fix the problem easily?

As you might have gather I'm not to savvy on most things mechanical.
