    Identifying terminals on voltage regulator

I've got a copy of the Lucas electrical troubleshooting guide and I'm trying to test my voltage regulator. The guide and most websites refer to the D and F terminals, and the cover of my regulator has markings for A1, A, F, D, and E. But when I open it up, I see 8 different terminals. Which are F and D?

Reading from Left to right 1&2 are joined to A1, 2&4 joined to A , 5 is F, 6&7 joined to D and 8 is E . If you look at the wiring diagram you will see how these wires terminate.
Where there are two Lucar blades to one post, it is designated as one terminal A1 or A etc
