bulkhead wiring hole ?

got a previously repaired bulkhead...seems the holes arent there for wiring behind gauges...2A wiring...not sure of size or quantity...let the plugs on new harness be my guide? thx

i have yet to look at my series 2, i've only driven it about 300 yards so, sorry, can't help but i will have a look for that slot in the firewall, it sure seems a big hole ........ like it was to let warm air in or something...... awful big just for wires etc!
