Been working hot and heavy on the '69. Currently, I'm finishing up on the bulhead, brake and frame rework. I have also installed a Carter electric fuel pump which seems to work well. Here are some recent pictures.

Looking good! Mine was clean and shiny like yours, but that was 25 years ago!

Good going, Erik! The restoration is worth the effort. Mine's been mostly trouble-free since then, other than oil leaks of course.

Come back and update your thread here. Would love to see your progress!

This looks great! Keep posting!

One thing I noticed(maybe not a big deal):
I'm in the middle of running brake lines, too. But my whole front sheet metal is all in place. I see you ran the brake lines up away from the frame. Will your wings/fenders clear the lines? I ran mine on top of the frame rails, or on the inside sides. Hold your fenders up there and see if you have access and clearance, or you might have to cut holes in the fender. FYI. (unless I'm missing something and you have a neat approach!)

I haven't changed out the brake lines. I just removed the wings to help with the engine install. They are as they were previously and
should fit.

Here’s an update on my 1969 rebuild progress:
Engine rebuilt (.030 over) with new valves. Installed and currently have about 300 miles so far on the break in. Runs better than it ever has! Installed a vintage vacuum gauge on the column and some new Yokohama tires. More pictures coming.
