Is this a replacement for the “all metal dash weekend?” My wife and I went last year for the first time and were planning on going again this year.

i don't think its a replacement for it, it's just expanding from a series 1 event to include all series land rovers.....

Yes. I am planning on bringing the Lucas factory Training Aid for some tech. sessions. Anyone at the British Invasion last year will probably have seen it on Rovers North's stand.

I heard that SIII stuff is not allowed. Is this true? Pretty stupid if it is.

it used to be a series 1 meet and became the metal dash weekend even though it is still called that by many it has evolved into including all series land rovers and swap meet for all, you will not be turned away because your dash is not metal ,if you take away the series 3 dash and grille there all bread from the same stock .....

I just noticed this is limited to the first 30 vehicles - how many do you have so far out of curiosity?

Got my 88 in Bar Harbor right now and planning on camping Friday night at the swap meet.
Want to pick up a few things.
Looking for a biege right outer fender that has nicely worn paint to match the rest of the rig, don't want to paint it. :p

See you guys there,
Steve

Thanks to all who attended the weekend.
Hope all enjoyed the event as much as I did.
The Airportable made it there and back, 4 tanks of fuel and 1 quart of engine oil, still have to fill the transfer and gearboxes !! All that highway work certainly got the underneath well lubricated !!

Keep rovering !!:thumb-up:
