I've been searching LRWorkshop for the diagram that shows part numbers for the rear drop plate, hitch ball, etc.
No joy.

Can anyone point me to the parts diagram for them?

Is this any help or you after the various LR kit in optional parts catalogue which doesn't always show US specific items ?

Thanks, I'd seen the RN page but that just has the receiver-type.
I'm looking more for the OE stuff. And as you mention that is probably in the optional catalog.

Not sure if this helps but these are four relevant pages out of a 1975 option catalogue (parts numbers by illustrations) and two out of 1965 option catalogue . Tow balls were standard of the shelf at motor factors , early 2" or later 50mm and would line up with the two larger holes in the rear cross member or could be fitted to the towing drop plate kit 514651

This is perfect, thank you.

Any idea on the PN for the ball? Or, why I can't seem to find the drop plate or ball on LRWorksop diagrams?

I have no idea re LRWorkshop , but I am not impressed with the quality of the results . Found the 50mm ball, its Rover number is 568872 superseded by GTT101 then RTC8891AA. Bracket for towing Jaw 508412 is generally available here in UK but I guess not a common part for use in US. I have found a 2" ball number but it has long since become Not available, because it probably 60 yrs since they were commonly used here. NB Never use a 2" coupling on a 50mm ball, as any slight wear and the two will part, we had a number of accidents during the changeover.
