Pertronics ignition woes for seriesIII, 109

Hello, I recently purchased a pertronics distributor billet and the flamethrower I coil for my 2.25L petrol. She ran well for a week and now is dead in the water. there is power from the ignition wire to the coil but nothing to the plugs. Is there a way to troubleshoot this problem, please let me know. Thanks!

Check all the wiring for proper connections. Are you getting spark from the coil to the distibutor cap through the primary wire? Remove the primary wire from the cap and hold it next to a ground (like the head) to see if you're getting a spark there. If not it's probably the coil or the wiring to/from the coil. If you are then remove the cap to see if the center contact is making contact on the rotor. Try swapping dist. caps. My truck once went from running great to completely dead because of a bad dist. cap. If swapping the cap doesn't work after all that then it's probably in the dist. itself. Contact who ever you bought it from and findout when you can get it replaced!
