Looking for some new rubber caps as mine are cracked/missing and oil is gradually slinging out.....

Let me know if you have a set.

I've never seen rubber caps, must be because you have Defender diffs. I don't know if the metal ones would fit, but I got a complete chrome set for $5 each from RDS.

Those are the standard coilsprung parts. You can tell because they only have 5 bolts in the drive flange as opposed to 6 on the series and the caps are rubber not steel like the series.

The bling.

See how it makes the wheel stand out. Now I just have to make them spin...

Once again, they are an on-the-shelf item at our hosts.

I apologize. I guess I've had difficulty searching for parts through the host site. Can you do a search for words rather than a part #?

The hosts part # is RNE186, and we have plenty in stock @ $6.60 each

A new cap is not going to stop whatever leak you have. They are meant as dust caps.

The only place that is leaking is out of one cap that has a big crack in it. The other is from a completly missing cap.

The two caps that do not have cracks are not leaking.

Thanks Les. I will be ordering some shortly.

You sure you aren't going to put dubs on there too? You could be the first to put spinners on a Series:)

I have trouble finding things sometimes too. :)

Yes, you can do a search for words in the Part # Search area. This searches through the following:
- Product Description Name
- Rovers North Part number
- Manufacturer part number

Most of the descriptions are defined backwards in typ Land Rover catalogue fasion, ie; "Hub Cap - Ser II, IIA & III Galvanized" as opposed to "Series II, IIA & III Galvanized Hub Cap". Put your British thinking cap on :o. I'm working on updating daily...

This part ref is RNE186 (http://www.roversnorth.com/store/p-3722-hub-cap-90110-.aspx) and if you put in the search term "hub cap" (http://www.roversnorth.com/store/searchadv.aspx?SearchTerm=hub+cap&Issubmit=true) the results show it as the first listed part. You can also refine the search results by using the drop down menu "Filter By Vehicle Category", in this case it would have been for Defender 90/110.

http://www.roversnorth.com/store/searchadv.aspx?SearchTerm=hub+cap&Issubmit=true

I hope this helps, if you need anything else, please just PM or call Les or myself :thumb-up:.

Why do I think that now we will get a message from Mark saying that he will give him a raise if we all buy more parts?
