Does anyone know the approximate height of a 109 fitted with a roof rack, such as this one: http://www.roversnorth.com/store/p-5382-brownchurch-heavy-duty-galvanized-roof-rack-with-fuel-can-mounts-and-ladder.aspx I know that the height is going to vary a bit based on tires fitted, springs, etc., but am looking for a ballpark figure. My garage doors are 7' high, so even ballpark figures would be helpful such as a response along the lines of: "the height is going to be well over 7', so don't even bother" or "it will be around 6.5', so proceed with caution and take a lot of accurate measurements". Thanks in advance!

Unless you want to go with tired springs and 15" rims I wouldn't bother with the roofrack if you want to park it in the garage.

I just measured mine at 7' 1" and it has been sitting awhile and may have sunk into the grass a tadbit.

If I remember the only time I wouldn't worry about a parking garage is if the sign said that the maximum height was 7' 6"

71IIA SWB on 30 X 9.5" (fairly small) rubber and RM parabolics (1" lift IIRC) and the hardtop clears the door by about 2" so that would be a no on anything with a roof rack.

To concur with Brent my 109 with fresh leafs and 235/85/16s stands just shy of 7' 2" with a full length Brownchurch.

a rover in the garage? i keep the garage space for the ones not used to the elements, the landy gets a prime spot in the driveway...no roof rack clearance problems for me!
