I have one wiper motor that does not spring back when you pull the j shaped piece to engauge the motor to the shaft. It does work OK because the spring in the arm keeps enough tension on the windshield for the wiper to work. Can these motors be taken apart so I can figure out what isn't working? If so, how as my manual simply show how to completely remove the motor and repace it. Thanks for any guidenance,
Jim

This should be helpful: Lucas Wiper Servicing (http://nhua.co.uk/smf_1-0-5/index.php?PHPSESSID=8efe49eb0f0a0cea5038b978bcdeac 86&topic=6792.0).

And since you have a S2 the Series 2 Club Forum (http://www.nhua.co.uk/smf_1-0-5/index.php) in the UK are a good source of help too.

And if you dont have a set you'll need to get some Whitworth wrenches (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Standard_Whitworth), you can sometimes find them on Ebay (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2 F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=british+whitworth&category0=).
