Does your SIIa 88 have more exhaust clearance than this?

1969 bone stock, replacing pipes/muffler/brackets in all the stock locations. (LHD) This center section of pipe is sure to rattle if I let it sit up against the crossmember. Seems the only way to cure it is a slight bend from a muffler shop mandrel. Left side of pic is rear of Rover

How much clearance do you have?
    Thanks,

Mine doesn't and it took alot of persuasion not to have it hit the crossmember. Wish the rubber part of the mid-hanger was about 1" longer.

Like Jim, I have stock exhaust systems on both stock II-A's. Once they are bolted up snugly, they don't rattle on the crossmember.
