Hey Folks,
Has any one fit a Disco II front driveline to the rear of a Series 88"? I have a salisbury rearend and the u-joints give a noticible hum when I am accelerating between 25 and 30 mph. I tried putting shims under the axel and it helped reduce the vibration but it did not entirely eliminate the vibration. I figured a DC drive line, like on the front of the Disco II, would help solve the problem since it is a CV rather than a single u joint. I figure the diff end of the shaft will fit a series salisbury but I am not so confident that the DC end will mate up with the output from my t-case. Is there anyone who has done this swap? Are there better options for DC drivelines? Should I just deal with the vibration and replace my u-joints every other year? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Erin

Go here and read the tech section, it should help you figure it out.
