good backup lights?

Does anyone have a good recommendation for backup lights? I want to install lights high on the back of my truck to act as back up lights for reverse but to also have an override switch so I can use them as work lights if I need them. I guess I will need to find some type of relay that will allow the circuit to operate either from the reverse switch on the tranny or the override switch on the dash? Any suggestions for lights or relays would be appreciated.

I used the LR work light and I liked it a lot, but it is a little expensive. There are much less expensive options out there. Take a look at the RallyLights web site - they have just about everything you need:

I believe it's IPF that makes a rectangular halogen lamp, somewhat smaller than a 550 Hella, and it fits inside the rectangular galvanized cages used to cover the tail lamps on series trucks. Wire it into you reverse light circuit, and in parallel with the reverse switch, wire another independant switch on your dash.
I have one on the back of my 109, but it's in the barn for the winter, so getting a picture is not likely today.

I used one of the square Hella worklights in place of the little pale square factory lucas lights, got it from Susquehennah when I got my headlights. Wired it into the reverse light switch.

I thought about setting it up to double as a normal worklight, but, decided to have this one as a dedicated reverse light, then eventually have a seconday worklight in a better location to use as a worklight, instead of compromising the reverse light, etc.

I opted for a reverse light to use the LR work lamp/flood light...... Fabricated a fairly simple bracket and spacer to slip under the upper rear door hinge then wired in a relay with a switch on the centre dash panel.... I works the treat with more than a plenty of illumination for reversing in the darkness. :)

They are Bighorn Maxxis 235/85/16 .... In truth had gone down to order a set of BFG mud terrains for the series, but came across the bighorn out on display. They were the size I was looking for, some what similar to the original Rangemasters at a less burden on the wallet than the BFGs so opted to give the bighorns a try.
