You also have to wonder why an '06 needed a full paint job (massive wreck and damage?). Another possibility is that the owner simply wanted it that color and was perfectly fine with painting a nearly new car. But there is some doubt in my mind.

Usually a person doing a fairly expensive paint job on a nearly new car is also going to do a lot of performance or other mods. However, the seller does not mention that sort of thing, but instead adds a description of the floor mats.

I used to work for a Land Rover dealership in California. Trust me I have been asked and have seen stranger things than that. It really is hideous though.

As the tabloid press constantly demonstrates, money does not always equal taste.

I'm sure if your aim is good with the grenade I could salvage that engine and graft it into one of my Rovers. :D It's not quite up to that series 1 dragster but it'd still get up and go! Of course these days all the computers in that thing would probably throw a hemo and disable the engine if the cup holder breaks.

Cheers

Given that it's a Land Rover at least the cup holder will leak profusely before breaking and therby disabling the motor.

Unfortunately, you will need a special tool only available at the stealership to remove the holder.

Rovacom or its dealer equivolent will be needed to properly diagnose the exact fault of the holder and location of the leak.

The dealer will then promptly provide you with a $1,200 dollar bill, comprised of 1/2 hour labor to remove the holder, $175 diagnostic fee and a $1,000 in parts for the holder itself and a $.50 gasket.

But seriously, that car is almost ugly enough to be considered kinda cool. Almost.

With correct ads and signage it could be a great mobile M&M sales truck.

This is why we don't let color blind people paint cars.

/Thus we will begin to see the future of our anti-discrimination policies.
