Speedometer Questions

I've been thinking about replacing my Speedo. Do I have to stick with the Smiths-Jaeger that was designed for the SIII? Are there options for going to a programmable electronic speedo?

On another note, my truck has the directional/headlight dimmer/horn wand on the steering column? It will not turn off once the steering wheel is returned to straight ahead, when I checked it the collar that returns the wand to normal is missing. Does anyone have a spare I could purchase one?

Plenty of options out there. I like VDO but that's me. Look at any site catering to hot rodders and you'll find stuff to suit your style.
