    Wanted: 88" Tropical Top

I'm looking for an 88" tropical top in good shape. All I need is the top as I already have the "safari" sides. Please reply or email me at sethpatt at juno dot com.

    Thanks,
    seth

      update

I still haven't come across a roof yet. Several leads but nothing definite. Thanks for the ebay link, I'll check it out.

Does anyone have an idea what a decent tropical roof should run?

      Thanks,
      seth

        Top

No clue, I'm kind of curious my self. I cant decide if i want to get rid of mine or not. Depends on what i can get for it. I would love to get one of Pangolin's new soft tops, but i don't know about getting 1300 for my top.

If your interested i can send pics. its from a 90 though i think, it has the rounded windows, no alpine windows or vents.

There is a lady in New Mexico that has one listed on Ebay:
            DustyKowboy or Mountain Trading Co.

Its listed at over $600.00 though.

I purchased a complete set of NAS Series III amber lights from her...good person and honest descriptions.

I paid $500.00 for mine in about 1998, so $600.00 today is CHEAP.

I think getting up over a grand is a bit hogh; however if the vents are working properly and there is no damage and good galvanizing on the rails, I could see a grand or more.

The rear vents have been NLA for years now, so be sure they work (mine don't).

I don't think the series III rovers were offered in the US with the safari top.

Of course, it may be a UK spec vehicle, or a mongrel too...

And by the way, my top was just the top, no roof sides with it.

If Rovers North doesn't have one contact British Pacific in Olympia Washington. They should have one but it will be exspensive.
