The location and height doesn't look right for any hoop-set that I've ever seen.

Was your truck a radio truck? I'm suspecting these were some sort of antennae mount.

yep ludwijg was originaly FFR, antaner makes sense :) thanks

If it was fitted as an FFR like the UK MOD trucks then there would be a fancy rack to mount the radios in the back there. It has a proprietry name which I can never remember but it is hard and expensive to find by all accounts. My bet is that these would be the mounting locations for the radio rack.

I can never remember seeing a picture of a military land rover with a cloth truck cab although I stand to be corrected given its Belgian origins.

I dont have the radio rack but they is probably what goes there now that ya mention it :)

This is a radio rack that would be used with those mounts (it would support the camo netting and support the antenna.:

The radio unit was a Larkspur (http://wftw.nl/larkspur/larkspur1.html). Which was eventually replaced with the Clansman system.
