I just realized I forgot to check/fill the steering relay oil level, which among other things, I was advised to do 13 months/2.5K miles ago to get a long unused '62 IIA 109" SW back on the road, which by-the-way is now running just fine.
Thing is, I can remove only 1 of the top cover bolts: the front one. Removal of the side ones is impeded by the relay arm itself, which when displaced from either complete right hand to left hand lock with the steering wheel still doesn't allow for their removal and the rear one is inaccessible.
I remember carrying out this check/service on my previous 109" and suspect it has to do with tire size: 750X16s vs. 235/85R16s, now in service. Anyone had this problem? Shouldn't removing both front wheels allow the necessary clearance?
