In the process of restoring my dash and I need to know which color warning light goes to which circuit.

Red, yellow, green goes to oil, or charging, or cold start.

Thanks :thumb-up:

My semi- educated, fuzzy memory guess is - red charging, green oil and thus yellow must be cold start

Thanks. BTW, cold start? How does that work? Is it a reminder to use the choke or something?

Lanerover got the colors correct. Cold start is a reminder that the choke is on after the engine has warmed

Here's my blue SW saying "my engine doesn't work"

Speaking of the idiot lights, has anyone ever found a source for these? I've looked around but the only source I've found is British Northwest and he wants your first born for them...

At least it isn't telling you that "your engine doesn't work and oh by the way you have also left the choke out"

There is nothing special about these lights. Simple 12v low wattage light.

You should be able to find some at your local auto parts store. Have a sample in hand so you can make sure of the diameter.

I've seen them in all sorts of variations so getting the series specific lights might be tougher.
