Tires..What fits,What hits

I am looking to see if anyone knows what size tire I can put on my 1990 Range Rover? It currently has 205/80/16 which seemed to be equivalant to a 225/75/16, but I am wondering what is the largest size I can install with out causing any damage. Any help would be great, Thanks

That's a difficult question to answer and it depends alot on where you are going with this vehicle. I have 34" tires on one 91 RR with 5" of lift and trimmed fenders and 235/70s on the stock 93!
