1991 Range Rover For Sale
Purchased from Lanny Clark in August 2007, we sunk some money into it and drove it for the winter. It’s getting to the point where it’s costing me too much to commute with it and I want an Enduro bike.
The Good:
JE Engineering 4.5 liter V8. Fitted in 95 maybe? 98,000 original miles, significantly fewer miles on the JE upgrade (not sure of exact mileage).
New ABS pump, new brake lines, new belts, new alternator, all in Fall of 2007.
Motor, transmission, and suspension are strong.
Body and paint is in good condition overall, there is some corrosion on underside of the bonnet with a 3 inch by 3 inch spot where the paint has bubbled up in the driver’s side front corner. The mudflap brackets rusted out and are gone.
The interior is spotless, headliner is good.
The Bad:
Needs an upper coolant hose, it started spraying last week and that was the last straw for me.
Periodic steering shake when hitting potholes above 50mph. That could be the ball joints.
Probably needs a new power steering box (you can get an authorized rebuilt one cheap from Meridian Auto Part in San Diego).
Needs a new upper tailgate assembly. The latch is rusted out. We just use a bungy cord.
