San Antonio in late June

oooOOOO, that's my neck of the woods...
whatcha doing coming down here? can you fashion a new 109 (6cyl) gas tank with a handle and bring it along like luggage?
let's see, end of June, might be a little muggy, compared to your norm. but there's plenty to do besides the touristy stuff. my wife will be teaching Art at an old convent downtown that w-end, let me ask her what she recommends. and i'll check for upcoming events for you...

The only place I really know about from my one visit there was the River walk

My brother lives out there.

It's hot, but not a deathly humid hot. Get out there and enjoy.

Alamo in the AM.

Pop into the Menger Hotel across the street. Go to the bar. Enjoy drink in the same bar that the rough riders did.

Leave bar reluctantly, head to hotel lobby. Buy cigars in smoke shop and enjoy them on the front porch of the menger.

Hit river walk. Eat. Hit river walk. Repeat.

Buy furniture at the rustic mile. It's near the airport and my brothers kids like to eat.
