    Spin on oil adapter

This little jobber came with my Rover when I bought it. Has anyone ever used one before? The instructions didn't come with it, but I'm guessing the little threaded hole on top is for the pressure sender.

yep on the oil pressure sending unit threading in there. mine came w/o instructions too and it still didn't take long to put on. works great, oil change are diffantly easier. if badvibes sees this post he can or i'm sure some one can give you the filter number that fits

I'd appreciate this bit of info. Preferably something I can find at the local auto parts store.

You can use either of these:

        Wix 51068 (same as RRC/Discovery)
Wix 51515 (longer than 51068) This is what most people use.

That's funny. I bought one of these on a whim last week (coz it fit) hoping it would do the trick. Glad the Rover gods were with me on that decision.

          Thanks guys.
