    Mt. Washington Series Climb...

I'm thinking of putting together a trip to the top of Mount Washington this summer or fall for SERIES rovers (sorry discos, rangies and defenders). This is still in the early planning stages, but I want to get a feel for the level of interest; It'll help me figure out whether this should be a formal or casual event.

Anyone up for it? If so, when (summer of autumn)?

My Series Truck was in the shop most of the year, but I'd sign on for an '09 run.

About 8 of us got together just last weekend for camping/rovering/Mt. Washington. We had a great time, though we never actually made it up Washington--One of the rovers fried a Pertronix ignition the morning of the climb and we lost our window of opportunity before everyone had to return home. Still it was a fun weekend--an absolute blast, and I think it'll probably happen again next year.

It was actually GraniteRover that set the whole thing up. You can see some info/photos at these threads:

I had given thought to going to MAR this year since by some miracle my wife is not traveling and will be free from my kids, but it sounds like MAR mig

I just got back from a camping trip to Mt. Washington and driving home through North Conway NH, I saw 6 or 8 Land Rovers lined up in a parking area wi
