hi all! new to this forum, and already askin for help. my '96 disco has sprouted leaks at either end of the intake valley gasket. is there supposed to be a gasket underneath the spreader bars on the ends of the valley gasket, or do the spreader bars sit right on top of the black valley pan gasket? one exploded view i have seen shows a gasket, and another makes no mention of one, i would like to fix this the right way before i lock-tite the bolt that holds the spreader bar down on either end, as they have come loose before. i changed the coil pack recently and found the leak at the rear of the intake to be pretty bad, and i would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and what action should i take to repair this correctly. thanks in advance!

You will need to pull the intake and replace the entire valley pan gasket and end seals.
The end seals go between the valley pan gasket and the block. The clamp bars fit on top of hte valley pan gasket and clamp the ends in place.
Rovers North cna get you everything you need for the job. I suggest the aftermarket valley pan gasket and OEM end seals. I've found the Pro-Line valley pan gaskets to be easier to work with than OEM.
Should take about three or four hours the first time through. -

The parts you require are :-
2. RNM039 End seal (Genuine Landrover)
1. PLV004 Valley gasket (Proline)
