I just received the bonnet hinge bushings ordered from our host. Not what I was expecting and I can't see how they work--

I was expecting a (plastic probably) tube that would fill in the slop of the hinge barrel, the hinge pin sliding snugly into it.

What comes is a ~1" solid plastic cylinder, about the size of the hinge barrel, with a off-center slot running the length--??

What am I missing?

Thank you and kind regards,
Josh

Sounds like you ordered bushings for a Series III but have a IIA. Only the Series III trucks have that bushing. The hinges and hinge brackets are different from what you have.

Thanks MR. I think you must be right. Searching around, I found them on Rovah Farm as well-- who has them described as "Series (all)" ??? Oh well.

Thank you.
Kind regards, Josh
