The new rear springs I ordered from RN finally came in and I was relieved to get the old ones replaced. They probably had a few more miles left in them...

Remarkably, unloaded, my SIII rides about the same.

New springs?? What a luxury...a frivilous purchase. Those old springs were just getting broken-in.:D

I agree.

All you would have had to do would be to pick the dried mud out from the gaps!

Good thing scrap prices are good.

Think of the gas you are now wasting 'dragging' around that extra weight in springs!

Of course having ALL the metal there might be offset by less mud - but I kind of doubt it!

Aren't they the 4 leaf parabolics with super doooper progressive helper spring package? It's pretty much what the TIC ones have.

Quick, put them on ebay and remember to tell everyone that they are RARE OEM parts.

Maybe sections of springs were broken off to patch the chassis!
