you might want to also post it in "Travels, Events, Expeditions and Camping" section as that is where I first looked to find it.

Glad someone said something about it, I would have never found it. Looks like I may have 3 to 6 old rovers coming. It's about time we had something in CT.:thumb-up:

Sounds interesting...looks like it's about 2 hours away for me, so I might be able to make it.

How do you RSVP? I added it as a reminder but that doesn't make me think you will get a notice... or did you.

Cheers!

If I didn't get a notice but you could also go to the snhlr.org forum and rsvp on their calendar. its not a necessity though.

i caught up with a 109 ive been begining to see in my town lately. I left a note on his windshield, so hopefully a very very odd looking camo painted land rover shows up. My friend will also be headed up friday in his green range rover and i'll show up on saturday with an 88 or stage 1.

Hey thanks for the note on the windshield :thumb-up: ....I am Clay, the owner of the '79 UK spec Series 3 109 - Complete with the wacked out camo (that is thankfully being painted soon) Unfortunately I cant make it to the rally but good to know that such things happen occasionally...And no less at a Scout Camp! (Eagle and Order of the Arrow right here ;)

I was planning on stopping in for a visit but... Master cylinder on the FC101 has failed and the clutch on the Mog also went. Happy Thanksgiving. Maybe next time I will have the mercedes powered 109 completed. Don in NE CT.

Forrest,
Just want to take a minute to thank you and your family for hosting a great event this weekend. I was able to attend this Saturday and it was a lot of fun. A good turn out of people and a lot of great trucks. Hopefully some one will post some pictures.
Thanks again!

Forrest,
One heck of an event by far. Even though i could only show up on sunday for a little bit there was still plenty of fun stuff to do and people to talk to. The geriatric trail was alot of fun in the stage 1 and im looking forward to the next event. I have a couple pictures, mostly kevin on the hill climb but i'll post them when i charge my phone. Thanks again for putting on such a great event!

Thanks for hosting such a great event, it far exceeded every expectation I had. Great location, fun trails, and good people make for a good time. On the drive home I was already planing for next year. Thanks again.

Thanks everyone that came, I had a great time. On saturday the weather was great and we had an impressive turnout. On sunday we had a few trucks show up including some of the local off road club members which made for an interesting day. The ground was completly saturated and all the trails became much more dificult. please post pictures if you have any.
