ignition problem

My 1963 IIA was in need of a tune up so I put in new points,condenser, rotor and cap like I have many times before. Now I am getting no spark. With the key on I get power to the + side of the coil but nothing coming out the - side. I tried a new coil but same thing. Both old and new coils read 3 ohms resistance. Any ideas?

If you hold the ignition wire coming from the coil next to the block and crank the engine with the key on do you get a spark?
You may have a bad wire or connecter coming from the coil. It's possible that you're new condeser is bad. You could try installing your old parts to help diagnose the problem. When this type of thing happens to me it is usually something I overlooked or knocked loose while trying to fix it.
