Hi guys,
I'm doing a 1966 2a 88' pickup. frame up restoration and i am making it coil sprung, i just bought the axles and i pulled them off of a classic(a late one) and got the springs too. i was wondering if you guys had any info on tips and pointers for this build.

P.S if any of you want to show me somthing i will be at forrests rally in november and i live down the road so you can talk to me then too.

Thanks,

Leslie

Cool...... :)

Not to be a rivet counter, but...... is it really a restoration if it's not back to showroom?? :p

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a hybrid, and, you can make changes and improve a Rover from what it was on the showroom floor (better alternator, etc. etc.), but, if it's not as it came from the factory, then.... I would call it a refurbishment, a rebuild, but not a restoration..... IMHO, FWIW......

Oh! You might want to put such over on the Hybrid board here.....:thumb-up:

mind you there is no reason why you can'ty build an awesome LR using leaf springs either...
