As it is more than 25 years old, if it has its import paperwork intact it should be no more difficult to register than a regular vehicle.

It depends on your state. Easy in New Hampshire, probably impossible in the People's Republic of California. Not sure about Connecticut...

Wow - an early Range Rover! What a kick!

There are many proprietary drivetrain and interior parts on these early Range Rovers, parts not shared on the '87-on Classics. When a Canadian one showed up at the Maine Winter Romp, it sure drew a lot of attention.

Meh - it's only an LT95 also used in the Stage 1, 110 V8s and 101. Rare in the US and quite cool but hardly unique. It may also have the Fairey Overdrive built specially for that gearbox.
