Hello all,
I called our hosts and the original land rover directional wand (attaches to steering column) is NLA. They have a non-tested one in stock, but I am wondering if anyone has found a part from another old car application that might work. If so, could you let me know?

Thanks for all of your help.

Very best,
Griswald

They are very rebuildable if you have a non-functioning one. They appear on Ebay now and then. Maybe Crazy George at http://www.roversdownsouth.com/
.

Unfortunately, the previous owner "took it apart" and then "lost it"

So I am looking at a replacement.

Thanks for the tip on RDS, will check with them.

Anyone else have a "retro fitted" one they can tell me about?

Thanks,
Griswald

I've had a 'Signal-Stat' (15 I think) for the last 16 years which I've never had a problem with. I think any auto parts store would have them--if they still exist.

Scratch that--there is no model 15...must be a 900 or something. Pretty generic.

There is an American switch called a pathfinder. Its as close as they come to the original. Even has the cancelling wheel

Regarding the unit for sale on www.lrrforums.com-
I personally know the seller and can vouch for him. His name is nathan, I have purchased from him before.

Have you talked to Ike at Pangolin?

It looks like he may have some used bits there...
