New owner here, with a 2000 Discovery 2. Here's the problem: Yesterday, I noticed a slight buzzing noise when I started the engine. I have not heard this noise before so I started to investigate. It seems the buzzing is coming from the IAC valve, and it makes this noise once you switch on the ignition (prior to starting the engine).
I searched the forum and see where this valve can cause problems with the idle, etc, but I didn't see anything about it making a noise or 'buzzing'. I'm going to take it off and clean it this weekend to see if that helps.
Any Ideas, Suggestions?!!
