connecting rod bore?

what is the bore of the conneting rod? i've checked the manual and can't find it. my machinist says the the hole can get ovaled and he wants to shave the caps and rebore them to match to outside diameter of the rod bearings

This can be easily checked yourself. Torquing the con rod caps in place and taking X vs.Y measurements can let you know if it's out of round. If he has suggested this, he might have already checked. When we used to grind these, we use the diameter taken across near where it splits in half as the correct dia. when no data was available.
