Im brainstorming again.

I want to eventually put powersteering on my 88, but its RHD and so far finding a RHD powersteering box has proven fruitless.

What would be eaiser/better in the long run.

Converting my RHD to LHD to convert or tracking down a RHD powersteering box and doing a powersteering conversion?

I like the novelty of my 88 being RHD and have no real desire to convert it, but it would make it eaiser at the drive throughs.....

Not much help but I once passed up a RHD International Scout II power steering gear box at a bone yard. It was still mounted to the old Postal 2WD Scout. I knew it was a rare find but I had no use for it at the time. Could of picked it up for $30. I would try the binder bulletin and check the classifieds or place a want ad for Scout RHD gear box.

A couple options.

You can mount a LHD Scout box on the inside right frame rail. My dad has this on his 109. (ill look for pics)

Or you could use a RHD P-38 ZF box. I haven't seen a RHD one done, but have seen several LHD ones and it is a nice set up and 'keeps it Rover'

The only downside is that you have reduced space for running a bigger radiator/intercooler if you are doing an engine swap.
