Merry Christmas!!

Did you buy the tree or just go crashing through the woods and somehow the tree just ended up in the back?

Actually, the truck is stuck in reverse. Ooops.

Eric,

Don't tell me that there's no snow in Stowe, yet! Good to see your II-A put to good use.

Does a red rover negate the need for a red flag on a load that extends more than 4 ft from the back of your truck?

Only if you harvest the tree in the town square. At night. On a bar bet.

Merry Christmas!!!

I am staying at my Mom's over the holidays and she wanted me to go out and get some Pine branches to use as decorations around the house. When I went to bed I prayed that it wouldn't take me long to find some and boy were my prayers answered!!!

From the apparent lack of damage it almost looks posed. I actually hope it was. Any bad damage?

Lots of those scenes (minus the rover) around here the other day. I'm confident it's NOT staged!

yea down here too! i just finished cutting up an oak tree about 2.5 feet in diameter by 45 feet long that fell on my sisters house. im just lucky my rovers weren't parked near any trees.:thumb-up:

SafeAirOne is correct, it was not staged at all it was quite an ice storm that came through the northeast. We were out of power for a couple of days. Luckily we had a generator and plugged in a couple of our neighbors.

But the only damage was to one of the light covers, other than that no damage at all. I am sure that the roofrack helped a bit but the branches also weren't falling from 50 ft up.

I even lucked out at a house I have rented out. a complete tree came down on my tenants minivan - with no damage.

And to celebrate no damage I used my new portable beer cooler!

Actually I may use this as a cooler in the summer, put a trash bag in the tire, throw in some beers and ice!

Now THAT, my friend, is the best idea I've heard of in a while!

The way I look at it if you are getting a beer then you aren't driving so it is perfectly safe! Since my running Rovers are Series IIA and before I also always have an opener with me!

75 and we've been having rain storms bringing 3-4 inches per hour. Lots of flooding and small mud slides. Almost got stuck at work due to road closures. I'm really missing the "real" winter weather. 2 more years.

Merry Best Christmas to all the Rover lovers!!!
Thanks so very much for all the help you all have given me throughout this past year!! Without you, I would have no Rover!!!!
My Rover is sitting quietly in the garage until the salt is well washed off the road! :( Well, we do start her up and run her around the property.
Yea, with new snow tires on the best 4 wheel drive vehicle we've got, my husband thinks I am being way to conservative. I call it practical! :nono: Not ready to lose value yet.
Though I do want to go blasting through a blizzard! :D Maybe on the next storm, I can get out before the plows make their big mess and see what my Rover can do!!!:)
And look at the price of gas!!!!:p
Guess I bought the right vehicle after all!!:thumb-up:
May God bless everyone and keep you safe on the road!!!

Like much of New England, it's snowing here again today. There's so much snow that my II-A got high centered on a drift. Oops!

Merry Christmas everyone.

Yep!!! Right now it's 73 and 98% humidity... Yep, that's my Siberian Husky, Sadie and when it gets hot, she has a spot next to the AC vent and a direct access to the pool..

We usually do not have a white Christmas, but this year in the Pacific
northwest I can oblige!
